This Auxiliary Idler kit places an additional billet aluminum idler pulley on the drivers side of a 4.6 2v timing cover on the typically longest unsupported stretch of belt.
- Created for high HP and RPM supercharged applications
- Stabilizes the belt path and ensures tracking with flanges on the edges of the pulley
- Provides additional belt tension and prevents belt flapping or oscillation, which can wear out belts prematurely and lead to belt contact with the timing cover
- Billet 7075 Aluminum Construction
- Mounts to drivers side alternator and timing cover bosses
- Intended for and compatible with 8-rib setups and works with 6-rib setups as well
- Includes: Bracketry, LPD 2in Idler Pulley, Hardware
- Pulley utilizes sealed precision bearing replaceable/serviceable with snap ring
